INTO Slams Education Cuts

The Irish National Teachers’ Organisation (INTO) today criticises the decision of Sammy Wilson, Finance Minister who slashed £13.4 million from the education budget to pay for Swine Flu. Below £40 million was taken from all departmental budgets, the largest has affected the education of our children.

Frank Bunting Northern Secretary said, “The education of our children should come first. It is just too easy for ministers to slash and burn the education budget. All our children will suffer as a result”.
