About the STSG

Welcome to this section for the Separated Teachers' Support Group. Founded in 1988, we offer support, friendship, social outings and meetings on relevant topics to all separated, divorced, widowed or single parent teachers, whether they be INTO, ASTI, TUI or IFUT members.

Probably the most important benefit of the group is that it gives members a chance to meet others in similar situations to themselves in a friendly, confident and supportive setting. This helps us realise we are not alone and gives us an opportunity to make new friends.

Take the time to browse through our pages on this website, and don't hesitate to contact us if we can be of help or provide a listening ear.

And as we travel along the road which is life, in the words of the great French writer Marcel Proust 'let us be
grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom'.

Teresa Feeney, Chairperson - INTO/STSG
