What the Draft Public Service Stability Agreement says about Benchmarking for primary principals and deputy principals

The draft agreement proposes union-government talks to conclude by September 2018 on an appropriate, time-bound process for addressing this outstanding issue.

The CEC therefore urges members to vote NO

Principals have been waiting more than ten years for the payment of benchmarking to reduce inequality between primary and post-primary principals. The proposed agreement offers little prospect of delivery on this within the lifetime of the agreement.

The INTO Executive having considered this proposed agreement in detail recommends that you reject it by voting NO in the ballot.
