Croke Park Implementation Body Meets

An initial meeting was held this week by the Implementation Body established to oversee the Croke Park Agreement on Public Sector pay, pensions and reform. Mr P.J. Fitzpatrick has been appointed independent chairperson of the Implementation Body. He was Chief Executive of the Irish Court Service from 1999 until the end of 2009 and prior to that was Chief Executive of the Eastern Regional Health Board. The Implementation Body also comprises three representatives from Public Service management and three representatives from the Public Service Committee of ICTU. Sheila Nunan, INTO General Secretary, is one of the nominees on the Trade Union side.
