INTO Meets Opposition Spokespersons

An INTO delegation met with opposition spokespersons today to discuss issues in relation to teachers and primary education. Topics discussed included staffing and resourcing, protecting pensions and school patronage. The INTO group first met Fine Gael TD Fergus O'Dowd, their spokesperson on Education and Skills, and then with Ruairí Quinn TD and Joan Burton TD from the Labour Party.
