Digital Bootcamp (please note this 3 day 20 hour course awards 2 EPV Days)
Date: 23 – 25 August
Venue: Alexander College, Dublin

INTO has teamed up with Apple Learning Technologies to bring teachers a unique, practical, hands on classroom/curriculum relevant experience. Each day participants will train in a variety of technologies, undertake collaborative projects applying the skills learned and conclude with a discussion on each project. This intensive 3 day course will be both challenging and very rewarding. Closing date for receipt of applications is 11th August.

Newly Appointed Principals Course
Date: 23 – 25 August
Venues: Navan Education Centre, Carrick-on-Shannon Education Centre and Tipperary IT
Cost: €70

This course aims at equipping newly appointed principals, 10th Sept, in the basics of the role of principal. The course will explore the administrative role of the principal, the legal role and the role of people/team management. Communication, delegation and interpersonal relationships will also be explored. Note: this is a 3 day/20 hour course awarding 3 EPV days. Closing date for receipt of applications is 11th August.

Different Strokes for Different Folks
Date: 23 – 27 August
Venue: INTO Learning Centre
Cost: €70

This course is based on the 9 personality types of the Enneagram. It explores the dynamic a specific personality type creates with regard to teaching style, classroom management, learning style and interpersonal relationships. The relationship between personality type and physical stress will be explored as will the relationship between personality and creativity. Each participant on the course will be afforded the opportunity to learn about his/her own particular personality type. Closing date for receipt of applications is 11th August.
