Temporary Re-Assignment Register 2018/2019
The Department of Education has today issued a new circular 12/2018 Scheme for Temporary Re-assignment for Registered Teachers. The new scheme replaces Circular 17/2015 Teacher Exchange Scheme and is open to all eligible teachers, including anyone who took part in the old Teacher Exchange Scheme.
The INTO register for the new scheme is now open and available in the members' area of the INTO website.
Please note: The INTO has no role in matching teachers or approving temporary re-assignment arrangements. The purpose of the register is simply to facilitate teachers making contact with potential partners.
The deadline for applications to Boards of Management for the ‘Temporary Re-assignment for Registered Teachers Scheme’ is 1 March 2018.
