Stand Up and Fight!
In light of the threat to unilaterally impose pay cuts and changes to conditions of employment, the CEC has decided to ballot INTO members for a renewed mandate for industrial action.
The CEC of the INTO is recommending a 'Yes' vote in the ballot. This is to give a strong mandate to INTO negotiators and also to send a clear message to Government that unilateral cuts in pay and/or imposed changes will not be tolerated.
Special INTO Branch meetings will be held at venues throughout the country between Monday 2 November and Thursday 12 November inclusive. Notifications of the meeting are being issued by local INTO Branch Secretaries.
Please note INTO members will be voting at their branch ballot venue.
