Guidance on pregnant and very high-risk staff published

The Department of Education has today published Information Note 0013/2021 which clarifies that pregnant and very high-risk teachers should work from home for the remainder of this school year.

The information note advises about the COVID-19 Health Risk Categorisation Report obtained during this school year and outlines the arrangements for the 2021/22 school year.

The information note also clarifies that the COVID-19 -19 Health Risk Categorisation Report which was provided to very high-risk teachers during the 2020/21 school year will expire on 30 June 2021. In advance of the 2021/22 school year teachers who are at very high risk of serious illness should complete the online OHS COVID-19 Risk Assessment Questionnaire no later than 16 July 2021.

It further clarifies the leave of absence arrangements for COVID-19 vaccinations.
