The Irish Forum for Global Education (IFGE) is hosting a lunchtime webinar to mark the UN International Day for Education. The theme is ‘Invest in People, Prioritise Education’.
Global experts including Dr John Walsh of TCD, will discuss meeting global goals for education and reflect on domestic challenges.

The IFGE is an independent network of Irish civil society actors, including development NGOs, education agencies, teacher unions, academics and individuals concerned with global education issues. The INTO is a founder member.
It is the Irish national affiliate to the Global Campaign for Education, advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG4) goals for education; and the National Strategy for Higher Education to 2030, which includes the promotion of equity of opportunity in Irish education.
The forum works nationally, regionally and globally to promote these goals and to provide information and advocacy on the progress and challenges to achieving them.
