INTO Principals’ Webinar – Current Issues for Principals

Following the success of the INTO Principals’ Webinars held throughout November and December 2020, INTO is running a series of webinars exclusively for principals during the spring of 2021. The webinars will take place on Wednesdays from 3:15pm to 4pm.

INTO Principals’ webinars will delivered by Head Office Officials; Deirdre O’Connor, Assistant General Secretary of the Conditions of Employment and Leadership Section, David O’Sullivan, Assistant General Secretary of the Legal, Industrial Relations and Equality Section, and Deirbhile Nic Craith, Director of Education and Research.

The webinars are free and for principals only. Please note that attendance at a webinar will not preclude principals from attending a face-to-face seminar when they resume in the future.

The content of the principals’ webinar on the 24 February will be amended to include updates on current issues for principals, including any available information on return to school matters and the In-Person Supplementary Programme. Staffing and redeployment matters will be covered later in March, as the INTO understands that the staffing circular will issue in the first week of March. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these changes, which are brought about by the dynamic situation in education at present, and our objective of providing relevant and up to date information to principals.
