How do I know how much sick leave I have used/remaining?

Update 21.10.21: Parental leave can commence on any day of the week but must run for the full period of 7 days e.g. Monday – Sunday, Wednesday – Tuesday, etc.
Can I take less than 7 days of parental leave?
Update 21.10.21: No, parental leave must be taken in blocks of 7 days. If you do not need/want 7 days of parental leave then you may wish to apply for unpaid leave. This allows for a maximum of 10 days unpaid leave in a school year to be taken either individually or consecutively.
What are the entitlements to parent’s leave?
Update 21.10.21: Parent’s leave is a statutory entitlement to five additional weeks of leave available to both parents of children born on or after 1 November 2019, which must be taken within the first two years after birth, or within two years of the placement of a child in the case of adoption. Parents can claim Parents Benefit during these 5 weeks.

Update 21.10.21: While this member of your household is waiting for their test, and waiting for their test results, you are required to restrict your movements. For more see our Covid-19 Support Hub.
I have a negative Covid-19 test result but have been advised by the HSE to self-isolate until I am 48 hours symptom free. What leave do I take?
Update 21.10.21: If fit to work from home, you can avail of Restricted Movement leave and work remotely. If not well enough to work remotely then regular sick leave applies. See Pg. 27 of Circular 0042/2021.
I am a job-sharing teacher. Can I work as a substitute on my days off?

Update 21.10.21: If you are absent on sick leave for more than 3 consecutive days, you must apply for Illness benefit from the Department of Social Protection. If you don’t apply for the benefit, you will suffer a reduction in income.
I am a job-sharing teacher. Am I allowed to complete CLASS hours?
Update 21.10.21: Job-sharing teachers in primary schools can carry out the CLASS hours, in the same manner in which they are allowed to carry out substitute work, up to a maximum of 25 hours per week total employment.
I am a teacher on career break. How much substitute work can I complete this school year?
Update 21.10.21: During the current school year, there are no restrictions on the employment of teachers who are on career break in a substitute capacity. See Information Note 0015/2021.
