As a follow up to the Primary Forum, INTO, IPPN and CPSMA met this morning (5 December) to discuss joint approaches to reducing workload for principal teachers. It was evident at the meeting that there is a shared commitment to ensuring that the Primary Forum delivers for principals and school management.
There was a valuable discussion about shared concerns on workload and possible joint approaches to areas such as child protection, financial management and building work.
Further meetings are planned to progress these matters.
