Circular 0030/2020 has issued regarding the allocation of SNAs for the school year 2020/21.
All schools will retain their current allocation.
Schools that require additional SNAs can seek an exceptional review. Exceptional reviews sought by 22 May will be responded to by end June. Exceptional reviews may continue to be sought during the school year 2020-21. Details of the appeals system is also outlined in the Circular, which is accompanied by FAQs.
The introduction of a new model for the allocation of SNAs has been deferred until the school year 2021-2022, a deferment sought by the INTO.
