The INTO has clarified with the Teaching Council that, with the agreement of the school/PST, Droichead can continue for NQTs who are supporting the continuity of pupil learning during the current school closure.
Additional arrangements to provide some flexibility to NQTs who are unable to continue to engage in the Droichead process are to be put in place.The Council has informed the INTO that it intends to notify all NQTs on the Droichead programme by email of these additional arrangements in due course.
