The INTO Youth Conference will take place on Tuesday 2, March 2021 from 4.30pm to 6pm and Thursday, 4 March 2021 from 4.30pm to 6pm.
INTO has held four youth conferences in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland since 2008. INTO members under the age of 35 years are nominated by their branches and districts to attend the conferences.
The youth conferences generally take place over two days and include plenary sessions where delegates hear from INTO leaders and are addressed by leading figures from the education sector. Delegates also participate in two workshops focusing on the current and future challenges for teachers.
The conferences are an important opportunity for young members to express their views on a range of concerns including secure employment, pay and promotion, mobility and professional challenges.
Nomination of Delegates
This conference is open to delegates aged 35 years of age and under. Registration will open in mid January and close on 19 February. Branches and Districts will be asked to prioritise those delegates who registered for the YC 2020.
