Due to a rising number of queries from members in relation to Social Media, INTO is providing a training course for members on Social Media in October 2018. The 3 day, OCN accredited training course, is delivered by an ICTU tutor and will take place on Mon 8, Tues 9 & Wed 17 October 2018 in INTO Northern Office, Belfast.
This course is available to all INTO reps and members, including Principals and Vice-principals. It is designed to raise awareness of:
- the difficulties, schools, members and reps may encounter with utilising social media,
- information on relevant legislation
- ways to defend against disciplinary action for alleged misuse of social media.
- the implications of social media being used against members and schools.
Places on the course are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Assistance with substitute cover is available through INTO if required.
