The Department of Education and Skills (DES) has just published a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for Principals and Boards of Management of Primary and Post Primary Schools.
This downloadable pdf relates to the Principal’s Child Protection Oversight Report (CPOR) to the Board of Management in accordance with the Child Protection Procedures for Primary and Post Primary Schools 2017.
In addition, the DES has published a downloadable pdf Template for recording documents provided to the Board of Management as part of the CPOR and, a downloadable pdf Template Check List for preparing the Principal’s Child Protection Oversight Report (CPOR) to the Board of Management.
We have made available links to the FAQ; the Template for recording documents provided to the Board of Management; and, Template Check List for preparing the Principal’s CPOR to the Board of Management.
INTO advises members that they are now free to use these DES template documents in line with reporting requirements arising under the Child Protection Procedures for Primary and Post Primary Schools 2017.
