INTO has been in contact with the DES to express our concern about the late payment date for substitute work carried out from 17-21 December.
It’s not acceptable that members would have to wait over a month until 24 January to be paid. We have demanded assurances from the DES that where substitute work is properly keyed in before 21 December, the teacher will be paid on 10 January.
