The Department of Public Expenditure and Reform (DPER) has published a Q&A document on the revision of the compulsory retirement age.
As the document states: “With the enactment of the Public Service Superannuation (Age of Retirement) Act 2018, no public servant, other than a member of the uniformed fast accrual group, has a compulsory retirement age of less than 70”.
