The Department of Education and Skills (DES) has informed the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation (INTO) that the staffing circular for the 2019/20 school year, the NCSE Primary School Special Education Teacher Allocation letters and the DES circular on the Special Education Teacher Allocations for primary schools will all issue to schools on 25 February 2019. The INTO had requested that these would issue after the midterm break, and that all
of these would issue at the same time.
The staffing circular will include details on the process for applications to the redeployment panel, contracts of indefinite duration and staffing appeals.
