The death has taken place in Limerick of Ted Motherway who served on the INTO Education Committee from 1992 until his retirement in 2006.
A primary school teacher since 1961, Ted had a particular interest in literacy and contributed to developments in education through his role as Cathaoirleach of the Education Committee and his involvement as Education Officer with the NCCA.
INTO offers its deepest sympathy to Ted’s family in their loss.
