The 2019 edition of the Irish Teachers Journal was launched at the Education Conference last weekend in Kilkenny by President Feargal Brougham.
This is the 7th edition of the Journal, which provides a platform for teachers who are conducting research to share their work.
In this edition the articles include: the power of primary schooling in children’s lives; supporting wellbeing and resilience in school; the impact of policy on leadership practice; promoting reconciliation and educational opportunities for children in Northern Ireland; assessment for learning; collaborative teaching in a linguistically diverse junior infant class, and LGBT teachers’ experiences during the marriage equality referendum.
The Irish Teachers Journal will be sent to all schools in the coming weeks and it is also available to read online.
