For a significant number of teachers, the registration date for renewal of registration with the Teaching Council is tomorrow, 28 March 2020.
Teachers are advised to renew their registration online using their Personal Identification Number (PIN). To access the PIN renewal service, the following information is required:
- Registration number
- PIN number
- Date of birth

It is a requirement for teachers to maintain registration with the Teaching Council to continue to be paid salary by the State. However, the Teaching Council has advised that no teacher will be removed from the Register due to an inability to renew online during the current COVID-19 crisis.
