Circular 18/20 set out that the Main Panels would issue after the Easter break. However, INTO has been advised that they will be delayed as a large number of schools have not returned Main Panel Application forms. INTO reminds schools that securing main panel rights for teachers is extremely important. Delays in the panel will impact on making appointments to schools for the 20/21 school year.
INTO advises that a Main Panel Application Form must be returned, even in circumstances where a teacher is deferring their panel rights. If there is a vacancy arising and a teacher is being retained, the school should advise the Allocations Section accordingly at primaryallocations@education.gov.ie.
