The INTO is continuing to engage with the Payroll section of the Department of Education and Skills (DES) regarding the notification of decisions in respect of applications for CIDs.
The DES has informed INTO that given the high volume of applications for CIDs, it is continuing to notify schools on an ongoing basis.
Any appeal of the refusal to grant a CID or with the terms of the contract of the CID (if awarded) must be made within 4 working weeks from the date of notification. The adjudication process is outlined in DES Circular 0030/2018.
