The INTO is continuing to engage with the Payroll section of the Department of Education and Skills (DES) regarding the notification of decisions in respect of applications for CIDs.
The DES has informed INTO that almost all notifications have been issued to schools at this stage. However, there is a very small number of applications, which are still being processed. Notifications in respect of these applications will be issued to schools on an ongoing basis.
Any appeal of the refusal to grant a CID or with the terms of the contract of the CID (if awarded) must be made within 4 working weeks from the date of notification. The adjudication process is outlined in DES Circular 0030/2018.
