Salary Protection Scheme members now have access to Digital Doctor

INTO Salary Protection Scheme members now have access to Digital Doctor, a GP service which provides free consultations with qualified doctors online via video call or phone.

The service – available only to Salary Protection Scheme members – means members have the option to conveniently and safely access a Doctor wherever they are, at a time that suits them.

With GP practices extremely busy over the winter months and HSE social distancing guidelines in practice, Digital Doctor is contactable to assess any illness or concerns that you would typically attend your GP for, with 83% of callers receiving a diagnosis.*

The service includes:

  • 24/7 access from anywhere, like home, school or abroad
  • Doctors registered with Medical Council of Ireland
  • Unlimited appointments
  • Prescription service if the doctor feels it is medically necessary (sent directly to pharmacy by fax)
  • Open referral letters (for A&E and Consultant Care)

Download a copy of the Digital Doctor Booklet. Call 1890 710 010 (or +44 203858 3890 from outside ROI) to contact Digital Doctor and arrange a consultation.

The INTO Salary Protection Scheme is insured through Irish Life, with Cornmarket as scheme brokers. Members should note, the Digital Doctor service does not cover sick notes – to get a sick note, members must attend their GP.
