With the issuing of the Staffing Circular 0019/2021 last week, the application process for CIDs is currently underway.

Last year, almost 1,000 CIDs were granted to primary school teachers. Teachers who are eligible to be granted a CID for the 2021/22 school year should apply using Appendix H. The deadline for applications is 21 April 2021. The INTO strongly encourage members who are eligible to apply by this date.
The Department has issued Circular 0030/2018 (pdf) which relates to the adjudication process for CIDs. The Circular outlines the appeal and adjudication process along with the procedures to be followed.
