The closing date for a Post-Graduate Diploma and a separate Graduate Certificate for Special Education Needs (SEN) Teachers is 11 March 2022 at 5 p.m.
Graduate Certificate in the Education of Pupils on the Autism Spectrum (AS)
This programme aims to provide substantial theoretical and practical professional development for teachers working with pupils on the AS and, thereby, will be in a position to contribute to the school’s overall capacity in this area.
In the school year 2022/23 a Graduate Certificate in the Education of Pupils on the Autism Spectrum will be offered in the DCU Institute of Education, St Patrick’s Campus, Drumcondra, Dublin 9.

Post-Graduate Diploma Programme of Continuing Professional Development for Special Education Teachers, 2022/23
This programme is open to all serving teachers employed in a position funded by the Department of Education and who provide Special Education teaching in recognised primary schools, post-primary schools, and other recognised educational services.
Teachers serving in special schools and special classes are also eligible to apply. The programme is designed specifically to assist teachers in meeting the learning and teaching needs of students with SEN.
Applicants must have a designated teaching role in relation to students with SEN.
