Further to our update of 27 October 2022, in respect of the Assessment of Need (AON) process, the Central Executive Committee met today to discuss the issue and latest developments.
The union is aware that there remains concern among the membership in respect of this process and we will continue to engage with the Department of Education and NCSE on behalf of our members.
We have been assured that the many issues we raised at the specially convened meeting on 27 October will be addressed after the trial concludes.
As the trial continues, we would like to talk to schools participating in this process in order to inform our work. We ask them to make contact with the INTO Education Section, via info@into.ie.
