Registration is now open for the next INTO Retirement Planning Seminar. This in-person event will be held on 12 and 13 May 2023 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Northwood, Santry, Dublin 9.
Running time:
- 9:30 – 17:00, Friday 12 May 2023
- 9:30 – 12:40, Saturday, 13 May 2023
Lunch on both days will be provided.
There is a €50 non-refundable charge. Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
INTO retirement planning seminars and webinars are delivered by a team of experts and are specifically tailored for our members contemplating retirement. We advise members considering retirement to attend a seminar or webinar at least a year prior to their proposed retirement date.
Topics covered during the webinar include:
- An INTO guide to pensions.
- Introduction to the Retired Teachers’ Association.
- Income tax.
- Enjoying a healthy lifestyle.
- AVCs and making the most of your investments.
Matters to note
Some school computers may not facilitate the entire registration process. Therefore, we advise registration from either a mobile phone, home PC or tablet to ensure registration is completed successfully.
Attendance at our seminars/webinars
As per DE Circular 0032/2007 Teacher Absences, one-day (only) with substitute cover is provided to attend a retirement planning seminar or webinar. Prior approval of the Board of Management/ETB is necessary. Proof of attendance is required for your board. Email confirmation for registration is sufficient proof.
Please note, one day’s leave for this purpose can only be taken once during a member’s career.
