The Department of Education has today published Information Note TC 005/2023 amending Circular 0044/2019 regarding recruitment procedures.
The amendment supports the use by schools/ETBs of a dedicated online recruitment portal, such as educationposts.ie for recruitment purposes.
The use of such a portal for recruitment to teaching, Deputy Principal and Principal positions is provided for in the Teacher Supply Action Plan.
The note also updates schools/ETBs regarding the maintenance and use of lists of available qualified substitutes and registered retired teachers.
