INTO Retirement Planning seminars and webinars are delivered by a team of experts and are specifically tailored for primary teachers who are contemplating retirement. We advise members considering retirement to attend a seminar or webinar at least a year prior to their proposed retirement date.
Registration is now open for our Retirement Planning Seminar on 12/13 April 2024 in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ballincar, Rosses Point Road, Sligo, F91XW7Y.

Registration begins at 8.30am and the seminar starts at 9.30am and runs until 5pm. On the Saturday morning, the start time is 9.30am and with finishes at 12.40pm. A €50 non-refundable charge includes all teas/coffees throughout the two-day period, full lunch on Friday and a light lunch prior to departure on Saturday.
Registration for upcoming seminars, will open approximately 4 weeks prior to each event. Members are advised to monitor our communications platforms for further details. For the face-to-face seminars, places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Our seminar is designed to be informative, enjoyable and engaging. The programme includes topics under the following headings:

- AVCs and making the most of your investments
Matters to note
Some school computers may not facilitate the entire registration process. Therefore, we advise registration from either a mobile phone, home PC or tablet to ensure registration is completed successfully.
Attendance at our Seminars/Webinars
As per DE Circular 32/07 Teacher Absences, one-day (only) with substitute cover is provided to attend a retirement planning seminar or webinar. Prior approval of the Board of Management/ETB is necessary. Proof of attendance is required for your Board. Email confirmation for registration is sufficient proof. Please note this is a once- only day’s leave.
