The INTO wishes to congratulate the registered primary teachers who were recently elected to the Teaching Council. Those elected will commence their term on the Council in early April and the union would like to wish them well.
The primary teachers elected are as follows:
Leinster: Joe McKeown, Hazel O’ Connor McWey
Dublin: Marcella Nic Niallaigh, David Fagan
Connaught/Ulster: Aileen Horkan, Desmond Cogan
Munster: Paul Moroney, Máire Kenefick, Mary Curley
The INTO General Secretary expresses his sincere gratitude to all INTO members who put their names forward for the elections and congratulates the successful candidates. The INTO also wishes to acknowledge the dedication, commitment, and contribution of the outgoing primary registered teachers during their term.
