Schools will have received a letter today in relation to the submission of Levels of Progression to enable DE to carry out a systems check.
I wish to stress that INTO strongly opposed this decision by the Minister and have made it clear to DE that this is a breach of previous agreements with the unions.
We, with our colleagues across the teaching unions, can assure you that we will continue to raise our objections strongly in the coming days.
