INTO Summer Programme 2025 Launches This Week!

The INTO is delighted to announce the commencement of the Summer Programme 2025, which kicks off this week. This year’s programme offers an exciting mix of in-person and online courses, designed to meet the evolving professional development priorities of teachers across the country.

Over the coming weeks, we look forward to welcoming thousands of teachers who will engage in high-quality professional learning across key areas including:

  • Literacy and Numeracy
  • Digital Technologies in the Classroom
  • Early Years and Play-Based Learning
  • Gaeilge i nGníomh
  • Effective Practices for EAL Support
  • Embracing Diversity
  • LGBT+ Inclusive Education

We are especially proud to launch a new online course this summer on Supporting DEIS Schools with a Just Transition, developed to complement our existing Global Schools course. This new offering, generously funded by the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission (IHREC), allowed INTO to provide 75 free participant places earlier in the summer.

Our commitment to in-person learning continues with the return of the much-loved Cúrsaí Samhraidh in Dún Chaoin and Dún na nGall, taking place in early July.

For those stepping into leadership roles, the Optimising Your School Leadership course – hosted at INTO Head Office and expertly facilitated by INTO Officials and the Oide Leadership Team – will support newly appointed and aspiring school leaders in navigating their new responsibilities.

The INTO warmly thanks all members who have chosen to take part in our Summer Course Programme this year. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our exceptional course tutors, whose expertise and experience ensure that every course is an enriching experience for participants.

A limited number of places remain across a variety of courses.
