Tenth anniversary Irish Teachers’ Journal launched


A special tenth anniversary edition of the Irish Teachers’ Journal was launched by INTO President John Driscoll at our Education Conference recently. Schools will be sent a copy before Christmas.

Applications open for new Supplementary Panel


The DE today issued a circular setting out the conditions and application process for access to the Supplementary Panel for recruitment to permanent positions for the 2023/24 school year.

INTO Education Conference to focus on language


The INTO Education Conference takes place today in Tullamore, Co Offaly, starting at 3pm and concluding tomorrow at 2pm. This year’s conference theme is Language Matters. This event is being live streamed.

INTO joins fundraising appeal for Ukraine


The INTO members’ Christmas appeal this year, forms part of an ICTU/IBEC initiative in aid of Ukrainians affected by the war in their country. This is an all-island appeal aiming to raise at least €25,000.
