The four-year term of current boards of management will come to an end on the 30 November and new boards will take up their roles from 1 December 2019.
INTO acknowledges the great voluntary work done by board of management members to ensure the smooth running of primary schools around the country.
The role of the board and the various rules regarding the composition and operation of boards are set out in The Governance Manual for Primary Schools 2019 – 2023.
