INTO Survey on SEN
INTO is asking all schools to complete a short INTO SEN survey to enable INTO to respond more accurately to the ongoing DE and EA consultations. INTO is asking all INTO School Reps and Principals to co-ordinate with their SENCO to complete ONE survey per school.

DE and EA Consultations
DE consultation on the draft SEN Code of Practice and the draft SEN Regulations
These consultations were due to close on 22 December 2020 but have been extended by the Minister until 19 January 2021.
It is important that all schools submit a response to both documents as these will set the agenda for SEN into the future. INTO is in the process of finalising our response and will post the responses on the INTO website at the beginning of January 2021.
EA consultations on Draft Framework for Specialist Provision in Mainstream Schools and a Draft Special Schools Area Planning Framework
These consultations were due to close in December 2020 but have been extended by EA until 11 February 2021.
It is important that all schools submit a response to both documents as these will set the agenda for SEN into the future. INTO is in the process of finalising our response and will post the responses on the INTO website in January 2021.
