Calling all our young teacher members.
INTO Northern Office is hosting an online virtual Youth Conference on Wednesday 27 January 2021 from 4.00pm – 7.30pm.
What is the INTO Youth Conference?
The INTO Youth Conference is an event designed specifically to highlight the issues most relevant to you and to give you an opportunity to have your voices heard.
Who can attend?
INTO members under the age of 35.
How do I attend?
To register simply email infoni@into.ie with your full name and Teacher Reference Number by 5.00pm on Tuesday 26 January 2021. You will be issued with a link to join our event.
The programme
The programme will involve presentations from INTO Officials, Northern Committee members and partner organisations to include:
- updates on current issues
- information re: progression in teaching
- teachers’ terms and conditions – advice for substitute teachers including permanency and Directed Time Budgets
- trade union negotiations
- what INTO can do to support you at this stage in your career, as well as practical financial advice.
There will also be an opportunity for discussion and a question-and-answer session.
All attendees will receive INTO gifts after the event.
