A District training event will be held from 10am – 3pm on Saturday 20 May 2023 in The Maldron Hotel at Belfast International Airport.
This is an opportunity to enhance your job application, prepare for interview or get ready for career progression to middle level leadership. District 1 are hosting this free event for all members (Districts 1 & 2) to support and encourage you on your career path. Join us for three sessions aimed at maximising your potential, supporting your wellbeing and allowing you the opportunity to ask our panel of principals, senior leaders and union officials about your career progression, work related issues and rights and conditions of service.
The day will be made up of three sessions:
- Show Up, Speak Up, Look Up – tips on career progression with Nichola Lynagh and Janette Tweed aimed at maximising your potential
- Stable your Table – practical strategies for managing stress and supporting your wellbeing
- Ask Anything – a Q&A allowing you the opportunity to ask our panel of Principals and Union Officials about your career progression, interviews, work related issues and terms and conditions of employment
This is also a great networking opportunity to meet other like-minded professionals who may be in the same boat as you and it’s ideal for those who would like to know a bit more about the union.
