The Supplementary Panel Circular 0078/2020 was published earlier today, which sets out the conditions and application process for the access to the Supplementary Panel for recruitment to permanent positions arising in 2021/22.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, INTO is unable to host the annual series of Supplementary Panel Meetings held throughout the country in November/December each year.
However, we are facilitating a Supplementary Panel Webinar on Tuesday (December 1) from 4-5pm. This webinar will be delivered by Eimear Allen and Ashling Lynch, Officials in the Conditions of Employment and Leadership Section.
Members are now invited to register.
The deadline for Supplementary Panel applications this year is December 18th. Applicants should note the following changes for this year:
*The required earnings to be placed on the supplementary panel have been reduced by 30%, due to prolonged school closures in 2020.
*Teachers will have until 26 February 2021 to achieve their full registration, with no conditions, with the Teaching Council.
*The Department of Education will accept emailed applications for the first time.
