The Department of Education has today published Circular 57/2023, which sets out the conditions and application process for access to the Supplementary Panel for recruitment to permanent positions arising for the 2024/25 school year.
The INTO will hold a Supplementary Panel Webinar on Wednesday, 22 November from 3.15–4.30pm. This webinar will be delivered by Kieran Killeen and Ashling Lynch from the Conditions of Employment and Leadership Section, with input from Donna Kenny from the Department of Education Allocations Section.
This webinar is for members only, and questions may be submitted following the webinar. A recording of the webinar will be available online afterwards.
Key dates and application process
Applicants should note the following for this year:
- The Department of Education will accept postal applications only.
- The deadline for Supplementary Panel applications this year is 15 December 2023. Late applications will not be accepted.
- You will need to be fully registered with the Teaching Council, with no outstanding conditions, by 15 December 2023.
- The DE will confirm receipt of applications by the end of January, and it is advisable that applicants retain a copy of their application and proof of posting.
