BECOME A STEM CELL DONOR
15th March 2024
Tracy asks you to join the Stem Cell Register!
Registration Event in Fintona on 23 March 2024.
In support of our colleague Tracy McKenna (UTU member), mum of two young children and a primary school teacher from Omagh, we are encouraging members to register as a Stem Cell Donor.
Tracy (35) was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and needs a stem cell transplant to survive.
Tracy’s husband Mark says “It isn’t until you know someone in these
circumstances, that you can really comprehend the importance of being on a
stem cell register to help save lives! This is in our power, and it is the greatest
gift we can give to anyone. We live in a community full of kind and caring
people, I believe we just need to spread the word to get people to get on board.”
If you’re aged between 17-55 and in general good health, join us and get registered for all patients in need. All it takes is a quick cheek swab!
Saturday, 23 March, 8am-4pm Denamona Primary School 31 Craigavon Road Fintona, Co Tyrone BT78 2BN.
