INTO Autumn Officer training

Regional officer training will take place online this Autumn due to Covid-19 restrictions.  This will be comprised of a series of online interactive clustered sessions to discuss current issues combined with a series of stand-alone webinar sessions open to all officers.  These will focus on policy developments and professional issues, legal, industrial relations and equality issues, conditions of employment issues and communications/media.  There will also be a series of online stand-alone IT sessions open to all Secretaries/Organisers.

Below please find the regional cluster schedule – all Officers will be contacted directly inviting them to register for their respective session. A session link will then be provided to each Officer registered enabling them to participate in the session

Staff Representatives

The INTO staff rep is an invaluable role within INTO structures.  We are here to help you with training and information briefings.  To be notified of such supports, please ensure you are identified as a rep on our members’ portal. Members’ Portal Training for Staff Representatives

INTO Learning has organised a training session for staff reps to demonstrate how to navigate the members’ portal.  This training will take place online on Wednesday 30th September from 5pm – 6pm. Staff Representatives Support Course

This online course is aimed at supporting INTO Staff Representatives in carrying out their role, understanding the INTO structures and gaining an overview of teacher employment terms and conditions and managing workplace relationships.

This course comprises 4 modules that will be made available on the following dates

  • Module 1: Staff Representative Role and Responsibilities: Wednesday 30th September
  • Module 2: INTO Structures and Communications: Wednesday14th October
  • Module 3: Teacher Employment Terms and Conditions: Wednesday 11th November
  • Module 4: Managing Workplace Relationships: Wednesday 25th November.

If you are a staff rep listed on the Members’ Portal, you should have received an e-mail invitation to enrol on this course on the 15th September.
