INTO Northern Office in Belfast will be closed in light of the increasing spread of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Ireland, from 17:00, Wednesday 6th January 2021.
Staff will work from home to ensure the union continues to provide an ongoing service to our members in these challenging times.
Any member submitting a query during this period is requested to email infoni@into.ie with details of your query to include your:
- Name;
- Teacher Reference Number;
- School;
- Contact telephone number; and
- Brief outline of your enquiry.
INTO’s experienced advisors will respond to you in the normal way.
Please note, during this period, phone calls to the office will not be available to members.
Queries already logged with will be dealt with in the normal manner, members will be contacted by phone or email. Members should be aware that when officials are contacting members they will not be doing so from Northern Office and their number (because of GDPR concerns) may appear as a withheld number.
The INTO website will be kept up to date and should be a first reference point for any member. Our dedicated COVID-19 advice page will be updated in real time to reflect the latest guidance from government.
INTO will continue to take advice from the health authorities and make decisions on that basis.
