School Leaders Training 2024-25:
Managing Difficult Conversations/Building Good Staff Relations
This is an accredited course for school leaders delivered by an ICTU tutor over 6 weeks, via a combination of zoom and face-to-face, providing practical tips on how to build good staff relations and deal with difficult conversations/situations.
The topics covered in the course include:
- Effective communication
- Managing difficult situations
- Handling grievances and disciplinaries
- Mediation/LRA
Please note this is a 6-week course and there are a maximum number of 20 places available so register early to avoid disappointment.
There are 6 x3 hour sessions, 3 before Christmas and 3 after:
The first session will be in person in INTO Northern Office and the tutor will agree with the participants at that session the venues (online or in person) for the rest of the course.

Week 6 – Thursday 6 February 2025 – 1.30 – 4.30pm in INTO Northern Office (TBC)
