INTO Queryline summer closure

The INTO Queryline will close at 3pm on Friday, 25 July. Members are advised that queries logged and received on 25 July may not be responded to until after the office re-opens on Monday, 11 August.

INTO President Anne Horan is leading the union’s 33-strong delegation to the biennial conference of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast this week, where she has today called for substantial educational supports and care supports for students with additional needs North and South and their schools.

Changes to career break and job share schemes in 2025/26

Following representations made by the INTO in recent weeks, the DEY has confirmed that the restrictions on teachers undertaking substitute work while on career break or participating in the job share scheme will again be lifted for the course of the 2025/26 school year.
