| Associate | Persons who were qualified teachers and members of the Organisation but who cease to be practising teachers may become associate members. Such members shall be centrally registered on payment of an annual subscription to be determined by the CEC (£40 for 12 months) and shall be entitled to receive the Organisation's journals. They shall have no other rights. |

| Honorary | Teachers who have been members of a branch at the time of their retirement on pension may be nominated as honorary members after retirement with the right to attend and speak at meetings of the branch but they shall not have the right to vote or to act as officers or delegates of the branch. They shall receive the Organisation's journals. They shall have no other rights. |
The CEC shall determine what subscription shall be forwarded to central funds on their behalf. Current rate £40 for 12 months payable by the Branch. |

IMPORTANT NOTE: Members, if you have not paid any subscriptions to INTO for three consecutive months your INTO membership will lapse. You will receive an email from INTO Northern Office notifying you of the lapsing, seeking to clarify your circumstances and, where appropriate, seeking to reactivate your INTO membership. Failure to respond to the email will result in automatic termination of your INTO membership. |
